WHY DRY FOOD?
During drying, most of the water is removed from the fruit. While fresh fruits, berries, vegetables and mushrooms contain 65-96% water, when dried they contain only 9-20% water. Removing water from food (usually up to 10-20% water content) slows down microbial activity and slows down biochemical processes. Dried berries, fruits and vegetables can be easily prepared into a variety of dishes.
Dried foods are light, healthy and nutritious. They are easy to store and use. In particular, dried fruits and vegetables are very healthy because they are high in carbohydrates, high in fiber and low in fat.
Suitable for drying are Jerusalem artichoke, apple, blueberry, beetroot, orange, lemon, chokeberry, sea buckthorn, blackcurrant, carrot. These, in turn, can be obtained by grinding delicious, healthy foods. Try our own products and see for yourself.
